Meet Misty! She is my 100th Custom Neo Blythe. I thought that it would be really fun to show how much I appreciate all of you that have supported my work. So to thank you all for loving my customs I will be doing a random drawing to win this girl! See details and rules below on how to enter for your chance to win! ♥

 

 

♥ I will have people submit their names by leaving me a comment on the MOSAIC PHOTO on my flickr (here). I will use random.org to draw the winner. I will bump up the photo a few times a day for people to see and I will close the drawing at midnight on October 3rd. Any comment made after this time will not be entered into the drawing.

 

♥ I ask that people don't submit their names/comments unless they love her AS IS because I don't want any changes made to her.

 

♥ I also ask that if the person that wins her finds they need to adopt her out that they "pay it forward" and GIFT the girl to someone else. Since someone is winning this girl free of charge (I WILL require shipping fees from the winner) it is only fair that they not profit from her. This is also sort of a way to insure that people aren't just entering to win with the intention of "flipping" her to make money.

Alrighty, I have contacted everyone on my list that had previously contacted me about my commissions list. I'm just waiting to hear back from those people that I wasn't sure still wanted to send me a girl.

I will take 5 more names for the list and then it will close again until those commissions are done. So if you would like to get on my list please email me at glahe@imaxmail.net.

If I hear back from people and they aren't interested in a custom any longer there may be a few extra spots. I will keep everyone informed! :D

*UPDATE* - All of my slots are closed now! Thank you all so much! If you are on my list I will be contacting you a few weeks before I'm ready for your girl to discuss what you would like done. Then I can get you a quote so that payment can be made and you can ship your girl. :D In the mean time please think about colors/eyelid art that you would like....or you can always give me creative license to do my thing.

*NOTE* - If you're on my commissions list already I want to let you know that I am always looking for stock or lighty customized RBL or FBL girls (no carving please). I would be willing to do trades/partial trades for custom work. Just let me know when I contact you and we can work something out. ♥

See Ya on the Flip Side!

So I will be missing in action for a little while starting tomorrow. I am heading to Dallas for Blythecon for the weekend! Am SO excited to see old friends and meet new ones!!

I'll be home Monday evening for a few days then on and off the internet for another week or so because I'm going on a Staycation with my family at the lake.

If you have any inquiries on my girls that are for sale go ahead and shoot me an email and I should be able to get back to you.

For those of you that have asked about my commissions list, I will be opening up 20 spots when I get back from my family vacation. I still have a few people on the list that I need to contact again so those spots will be included in the 20 unless they aren't interested anymore. It will be a first come first serve basis and I will post the openings here and on my Flickr and Facebook pages.

Blythecon 2012

So I'm getting ready to head to Blythecon in Dallas in less than a month! I can't believe that it's almost time already!!! I am trying to get as many commissions on my list done before I leave but I obviously won't have time to finish up everyone's before then.
I appologize for that as I know some people have girls in transit to me or that have just arrived here.
I will be working on a couple of girls to sell so that I actually have some money for Blythecon too. Which I'm feeling like I waited until the last minute to do but am crossing my fingers I will get them done and sold in time.
I'm also going on a short vacation with my family at the end of this week sooooo I'm feeling a little bit of pressure on my end to wrap things up and get ready for Blythecon.
I will continue to work on commissions after I finish up my two girls for sale and a pair of eyelids on my personal girl that I have to ship off to another customizer soon. Please bare with me! Hugs -Sarah

Well it's almost summer time here and it always seems like a busy time for my family with the kids being out of school and all. I won't be accepting any more commissions until I've completed all of the girls that are on my current list. I have some that need to be done in time for Blythecon and really just want to get caught up with everything I have going on. I will post when the list is open again. Thanks!!

Hi all!


I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm trying to work down my commissions list as quickly as possible. If I've contacted you and don't hear back from you within a few days then I am going to have to keep moving down the list. I can't keep sending emails to remind you that you are next on the list. I figure if I've contacted you already and if you want to send a girl then you will contact me when you're ready to do so. This isn't directed at anyone in particular. I've just been having to jump around on my list lately and wanted to explain what was going on. Please don't get angry if you see girls getting customized that are further down the list than you. I just can't sit around and wait or it would take me forever to get thru my commissions list. I promise I will get back to your girl(s). Thank you for understanding!

Aurora The Traveling Blythe 2012

This year I was chosen as one of three Blythe customizers worldwide to make a doll for The Traveling Blythe project. You can see the official website for the project here. I was so honored and excited to join Lynne (Happibug) and Kate (Moofala) in creating these special dolls! These girls will travel all over the world, making new friends along the way.

I chose a Simply Thumpty Thump for my base doll, as I felt she wasn't a doll that you see often. She got a complete makeover, including 3 sets of handpainted eyechips by me. Her eyelids have a closeup owl face on one and a twilight silouette on the other.

My Mom (Willowee) made her a special Rag Bag Designs Faery dress. I also had a custom bauble helmet made for her by Meg (irulethegalaxy), and Mandy (jeds123) was very sweet and donated a pair of Little Hoo Owls to keep her company during her travels. I am also sending her complete stock outfit with her along with an extra pair of boots and socks.

The people that are hosting my girl voted to name her Aurora, which I think fits her very well. She is actually leaving today for her first destination, Hawaii!! I'm so excited to see photos and follow her on her trip around the world.
